OUR STORY

Est 2005

Local Media Services Company was founded in 2005 as an online news wire, photography & video provider for sporting organisations and associations.

In 2010 the business moved on from news wire services and closed its sports new website focusing solely on video production, broadcasting and video services.

The company is now a huge producer of sports video content and official broadcast and media services provider to NRL in WA, NRL in NT, Hockey WA, Perth Football League, Rugby Western Australia, NRL Touch Football, Gridiron West and the Australian Baseball League (ABL).

Our multi-levelled services range from TV broadcasting, IPTV broadcasting, TV series production, production management, live streaming, sports recording & video management, ENG network services, broadcaster (TV) transmission services.

Our capabilities and equipment are expansive with our own Outside Broadcasting van, more than 30 broadcasting camera sets, 7 mobile TV capable broadcast fly kits, TVU networks TV transmitters & Receivers, and a professional production crew of more than 30.

Our studio production in Cockburn, south of the Perth CBD, includes:

two multi-input production suites with full graphic, playout & EVS style replay
two in-house live commentary suites for remote commentary
five live stream stations for live GFX overlay
master control & monitoring
remote playout to multiple end points.

We can deliver multiple events simultaneously to multiple platforms using enterprise fibre connections with speeds up to 1TB, for high bit rate transmission.

LMSC is on of the most versatile and most experienced community production company in Australia.

In 2024 we opened an office in Darwin in the NT and extended our operations to the east coast with the capability to produce & broadcast from anywhere across Australia.

Having been at the forefront of the new medium - online broadcasting - we have almost a decades worth of experience in online streaming. We are the experts in live streaming.

Founder of our little organisation and executive producer of our production house. David is hands on, everything from the client manager, EVS operator, Camera operator, through to event rigger.

OUR CAPABILITIES

Our camera and equipment set is extensive and wide. More than 25 Sony ENG & Broadcast cameras, two mutli-input remote production studios, 5 remote live stream stations, multiple OB fly kits and broadcast vans. We operate a variety of production equipment that includes brands such as Datavideo, Roland, Blackmagic Design & Newtek. Back up by our TVU Networks system of studio transreceivers with more than 6 TVU One field packs for remote transmission.
